We were very pleased with our project manager, Richard Fairbairn from Icon Project Management and would definitely recommend him to anyone. Richard helped us throughout our custom house build with his friendly nature, years of industry knowledge & contacts, and project management skills to deliver our house to a great standard and on time as promised. When changes were made last minute or there was issues that need to be worked through because of our custom design it was no problem for Richard. Complex problems were always fixed with quick and well thought out solutions. Nothing was too big a problem. Any changes to budget/costs were always upfront and clearly explained with options so there were no surprises. We are very happy with the our house and the building process experience thanks to Richard.

It is with pleasure that I have been asked to write this reference for Richard Fairbairn. Richard was the project manager for the construction of our holiday home in Wanaka during 2014/2015. We found the whole process one that was made easy and efficient by Richards’s knowledge of the construction process. His communication was always fantastic. Not being in Wanaka regularly during the build was difficult for us, but Richards’s regular updates, photo’s etc made us still feel very much a part of the process. His attention to detail and need for the end result to be one of perfection gave us huge peace of mind, and we believe it certainly shows in the end result, giving us a home that we will be proud of for many years to come.
